Phil Gordon - Managing Director
"Gordon Engineering Services" (GES) was formed in 1995 to provide specialist aviation refuelling equipment and services to the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. The company has continued to develop with GES services being utilised by most operators within the North Sea / Europe / Asia regions and America.
A move to larger premises in 1999 enabled the company to upgrade and extend its range of services with added emphasis on airport installations. GES are now engaged in installation, maintenance, filter / water separator refurbishment, pipeline modifications, etc. Ongoing contracts are serviced by GES Aberdeen, Glasgow, Prestwick, Edinburgh and Cumbernauld airports.
Interests: Phil enjoys Football and is a very keen Golfer.
Colin Scott - Operations Director
Colin joined Gordon Engineering in April 2006. Colin is a Coded Welder and Pipe fitter to trade. Colin has brought many years of off and onshore experience to the table and is at the for front of business vision. Colin is the technical and engineering contact for our customers and clients worldwide.
Interests: Colin is a big fan of Football, UFC and Golf.
Mark Auld - Office Manager / Buyer
Mark joined Gordon Engineering in August 2002 as office junior. Mark has a vast knowledge of our customer's needs and expections. Mark now manages all our contracts and is the main contact for all enquiries and customers.
Interests: Mark is a keen Footballer and Golfer.
Diane Gordon - Buyer /Admin
Diane has been with company since November 2010. Diane handles all front office enquiries and is the customers first point of contact.
Interests: Diane enjoys keeping fit, travelling, good food and wine. Diane also enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Shirley Scott - Accounts Manager
Shirley joined us in March 2004. Since leaving university Shirley has been involved in Accountancy. Shirley handles all of Gordon Engineering Accounts and Lisaises with all our customers.
Interests: Shirley is a keen Athlete, in her spare time she completed 2 Great North Runs and the Baker Hughes 10k several years running. Shirley loves Traveling, photography and crafts.
Ben Gray - Projects Engineer
Ben Joined the company in August 2006 and after 4 years gained great knowledge and experience as a helifuel engineer. The knowledge gained meant Ben was perfectly placed to take over as Project engineer and now completes projects from planning to completion.
Interests: Rugby, Gyms and Fast Cars.
Dave Morgan - Helifuel Engineer
Dave joined the company in August 2007. Dave was originally a Welder and Fabricator in Insch. Dave moved on to gain 10 years experience in pneumatic hoist, winches and cranes, and has over 25 years experience in the offshore industry. Dave now covers offshore inspections, training and installation. Onshore, Dave completes bulk coupling repairs and assists Colin with fabrictaion projects.
Interests: Dave is a keen motorcyclist. Dave also plans to build a motorsport car for hill climbs and sprints.
Liam Shand - Helifuel Engineer
Liam joined the compamy in November 2007. To trade, liam is a fully trained cooper and has fully completed his Helifuel training. He now carries out off and onshore Helifuel inspections and maintenance, coupling repair, pressure testing, training and installing. Liam has proven to be a great asset to the team with a great knowledge and commitment to any task.
Interests: Fishing, Snowboarding and Golf.
Chris wood – Helifuel Engineer
Chris joined Gordon Engineering in September 2011 and has successfully completed his helifuel training. Chris was a fully qualified Motor mechanic with many years’ experience with a big name car company. Chris carries out full onshore/Offshore Helifuel inspections and maintenance. Whilst onshore Chris conducts bulk coupling repair, pressure testing and training. Chris’s Strong mechanical background has proven to be a great asset to the team.
Interests: Swimming, motorbikes and Horses.
