SEA DRAGON - OBAN B AND GANDER DRILLING
Gordon Engineering was awarded the contract in October of 2008 to supply 2 helifuel packages, tanks and tank lay down skids. Sea Dragon has constructed two of the largest Semi Submersibles in the world. Gordon Engineering will Manufacture, Install and commission the complete helifuel packages as required.
(Phase 1) Two custom designed, industry standard helifuel dispensing and pumping cabinets are manufactured. The units undergo factory testing and is witnessed by DNV. (Picture 1 - 1 of the completed dispensing cabinet ready for packaging.)
(Phase 2) Six 2,700 litres transportable Helifuel tanks are manufactured and numbered as per customer's specification. (Picture 2 - Six customer specified 2,700 litre transportable tanks.)
(Phase 3) 2 custom designed tank lay down skids are manufactured. Capable of holding 3 tanks each giving our client access to 8,100 litres per lay down skid. (Picture 3 - Tank lay down skid in early manufacturing stage.)
(Phase 4) System is delivered to Sea Dragon using custom crate packaging to insure safe delivery and preservation of our product. All manuals, schematics, diagrams and operational maintenance procedures sent to Sea Dragon. (Picture 4 - Goods safely packaged up and ready for delivery.)
(Phase 5) Installation of all 2" pipes onboard both Oban B and Gander vessels. (Picture 5 - The Installation process.)
(Phase 6) Operational test of both packages in situ. Full package commission and certification to CAP 437 standards. (Picture 6 - Completed customer order after DNV witnessed testing.)
(Phase 7) Crew training on equipment and all aspects of safe Helicopter refuelling. (Certification Obtainable.)
