Sea Dragon
Gordon Engineering was awarded the contract in October of 2008 to supply 2 helifuel packages, tanks and tank lay down skids.

ENSCO 72

Gordon Engineering was contacted by Ensco 72. There current helifuel system was in a poor condition and the installation wanted to use as much of the original system as possible with a refurbished system.
Gordon Engineering was tasked with designing and manufacturing a unique helifuel package. The Package would be placed on one Skid. The Skid would then have a habitat built around it whilst on the installation. The design stage was approved and went to manufacturing.
Gordon Engineering travelled to the Ensco 72 and removed the old system, which was returned to Gordon Engineering to be stripped. A rental system was temporarily installed to cover the period of manufacturing.
This project gave Gordon Engineering a unique challenge. To compress a dispensing cabinet and pump cabinet into one.
Many of the original parts that could be used were refurbished and tested.
A new filtration system was installed due to the previous system being sub standard.
A new Gast air motor and Blackmer X2B pump was added.
The System was delivered on schedule.
The rental system was removed.
The New Package was installed and fully tested and commissioned. The Habitat (supplied by the installation) was constructed around the package; this gave 360' access to the system in a dry environment.

This project demonstrates Gordon Engineering's commitment to give our customers what they want.
